 This course manual aims to introduce students to the basic concept of law of contract, torts and crimes. It explains the fundamental principles of these three branches of law. At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to briefly explain the elements of a valid contract, the types of liabilities in torts, the elements of crime, as well as the general defences in criminal law. This course guide is prepared to help students digest the course contents as it is based on the course outline and the teaching module. It is hoped that this compilation will improve the proficiency and competency of the teaching and learning process. We hope that this manual will be a valuable aid to students in understanding the law of Contract, Torts and Crimes in Malaysia.
