 This work compiles Malay stories, proverbs, poems and songs related to medical science. Indeed, medical science is so familiar with Malay civilization. As for medical knowledge, it is an important theme in diplomatic relations and there is a story that the king converted to Islam because of illness and a doctor. In fact, Malay proverbs originated from the experience of Malays treating various diseases and using local medicinal ingredients. Medical knowledge is also evident in some Malay poems and songs that are commonly sung such as Anak Itik Tok Wi although the medical content has begun to be forgotten. Shahdan, Sudah Gaharu Cendana Pula tries to re-introduce the medical heritage in Malay literature in a performance that can be enjoyed by the current generation.
