Description
Summary:Kitab Alam Perempuan was written by al-Sayyid Shaykh bin Ahmad al-Hadi (1867-1934), which is a collection of his writings in al-Ikhwan magazine. Al-Sayyid Shaykh after returning from his studies in Egypt brought with him a new soul and a new trend pioneered by Sayyid Jamalu'ddin al-Afghani and Shaykh Muhammad Abduh. They are famous for fighting heresy and superstitions that envelop Muslims and trying to establish Islam based on pure tawhid from the practice of shirk that taints it. The four main issues that form the backbone of al-Sayyid Shaykh's discussion in the Book of Women's Nature are regarding the need for female qawm for education, the haqq-haqq qawm of women who are marginalized, the wearing of veils among women and female qawm in marriage. It is hoped that this Book of Women's Nature will give benefit, benefit and meaning to the 'aqal rubani of the Muslim community today by knowing and recognizing the true position of women, thus acting in accordance with their position in achieving justice for themselves and the others.
