 As a region that is a crossroads for religion and culture, the Malay world is experiencing a unique historical development. In terms of religion, it begins with the original religious tradition or belief, followed by the original religion or belief, followed by Hinduism and Buddhism from India , and Islam either through India, China, or directly from Arab-Parsi. And in its development in the Malay World, although in principle it has distinkative or different characteristics, but it undergoes a process of assimilation both moderately and excessively in the form of syncretism. Along with the advent of religion, it also brings cultures and civilizations that cover various aspects of life and thought. Different from the view of the secular model that separates religious affairs and life otherwise in the traditional view of the question of culture is closely related to religion as its basis ( foundation ). But in the development of culture , it seems that the influence of Hindu culture is elitist , the influence of Buddhist culture is people-to-people, and especially the Islamic culture is more comprehensive both at the upper level and the subordinate people in general.
