With the rapid growth in ICT the role of libraries also has been changed it has become multidimensional and user friendly in which VRS plays vital role in exchange of information and easy access to its users in a real time especially in academic domen the above noted virtual reference services are extensively employed by the information seekers. However there are many short comings and technical problems faced by both the ends i.e. librarians and users therefore it is essential to study the VRS and its application and solutions for the problem faced during their applications.
