The comprehensive implementation of Islamic law but within the framework of the Constitution is not an illusion. It requires careful planning with reference to the requirements of Maqasid Al-Shari'ah, fiqh of priority as well as the demands of Siyasah Syari'yyah, far from rhetorical shouts. Islamic law, which was once the main law of the country, needs to be reformed so that it is in line with the demands of the times. The transformation of Islamic law as well as the upgrading of the Syariah Court so that it is equivalent to civil law and the Civil Court must be an important agenda to see a comprehensive Islamic law can be realized. Similar to the Civil Court, the existence of the Syariah Court is to give justice to the parties involved. Nevertheless, conflicts and clashes between both civil and Islamic law can be avoided by harmonizing the two laws. The reality is, Islamic law can be fully implemented in Malaysia provided that all Muslims must support efforts towards the implementation of Islamic law in Malaysia. Careful and meticulous planning by taking into account the position of society, the framework of the Constitution and Islamic law in the effort to enact Islamic law in Malaysia.
