Each unit in this book presents a different theme which takes into consideration the students' various backgrounds. The units offer the students a clear overview of the key topics covered and the desired learning outcomes, detailed notes and sections on grammar and vocabulary. Ample exercises are provided to empower students through reinforcement of the knowledge and skills acquired. Besides that, additional exercises are available online for further practice outside classroom hours. Additionally, seven short stories which are accompanied by two reading tasks each are included for practice in constructing reflective responses. These stories feature various characters and settings that the students can relate to, enabling them to enhance their knowledge of the world. |
