 Islam is a religion that promotes the approach of wasatiyyah. Manhaj simplicity is the best method and practice that can develop Islamic dakwah. According to the Arabs, wasat, carries three meanings, that is, being modest, taking the middle ground and to be the best. As a result, when Allah SWT explains that Muslims are a nation of wasat, then we should be a progressive ummah. In this regard, the meaning of atawasoot in terms of its Islamic meaning leads to calling on the ummah to make every effort to moderate in all matters, and to avoid any extreme behavior or direction. Clearly, the wasatiyyah approach is mutually accompanied and complements the idea of 1Malaysia tang leading to the formation of a balanced society, based on the Federal Constitution. The idea of 1Malaysia itself supports the core of moderation that wants to be applied to the soul of the people and the people in building a successful nation and nation.
