Summary: | Often, most Malaysians are presented with Turkish stories from one perception only. Especially in the heyday of the Ottoman Empire and its writing grew rapidly like mushrooms. Rarely does it sound about the Turkish earth from different angles as told by this young man. Continued his studies in a city called Izmir. A city where its location is located opposite Greece and the Sea of Ege spans both. The impact of geographical positions such as the inj may also have created a social life that is so much in contradiction to that of the Turkish population in other cities. On average, the people of Izmir adopt secularism and choose a modern western lifestyle. The city of Izmir has also become a transit point for Syrian refugees before continuing their journey to The Island of Chios located in Greece. The life of the writer in the city of Izmir is so colorful. Surrounded by friends of different faiths, cultures and races. Different lifestyles such as drinking alcohol as a daily drink are examples. However, the author is still able to compensate for life in Izmir. The sacrifices and efforts of the author as cited have greatly changed the perception and outlook of life of the people in Izmir. Until there are some among them who make the Malaysian flag as decoration in its shop. Syrian refugees flying in Izmir waved Malaysian flags while chanting, "This flag heals our wounds!" The story of the writer's experience answering the question of godship also opened up the thinking room of the young woman from Italy, Eleonara. From atheist-inspired girls to The Light of Islam. |
