 Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad has a veryvaried and vast experience in his career as well as in life. He was born during the japanese occupation in a village surounded by rice fields in province wellesley north without the basic necessities like piped water and electricity. He live throught the japanese occupation, the malayan union, the federation of malaya, independent malaya, Malaysia with and without singapore, the may 13 incident until now. During the period he struggled throught the malay and english schools.the university, the legal and judicial services and rose to become the chief justice of malaysia.besides holding various posts in the legal and judicial services, he had presided in all courts in the country,including the shariah courts of appeal and the special courts.Besides writing 567 judgments, he had written, presented or delivered more than 200 speeches, lecturer, papers and articles. This book contains collection of his speeches, papers and articles in the english language.
