Description
Summary:In this report, an optical sensor for measurement of liquid refractive index employing surface plasmon resonance were fabricated and characterized. Different thicknesses of gold him films were used to impove the sensitivity of the sensor. Thermal evaporator and sputtering method are the two deposition methods used to deposit the gold thin films. The result shows that the thickness of thin film increases as deposition time increases.
