Summary:The fabrication of nitrogen detector based on zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures which have a sensitivity toward a nitrogen gas. Zinc oxide nanostructure can be grown with various method. In this experiment, ZnO nanostructure were grown by the catalytic immersion method using Zinc Nitrate Hexahydate (Zn(NO3)26H2O) as a precursors and Urea (CH4N2O) as a stabilizer in which growth on silicon substrate with gold seeded layer as a catalyst with different molarity concentration has been taken in the ratio 2:1, 1:4, 1:6 and 1:8.
