PHASE AND MORPHOLOGY STUDIES OF IRON OXIDE, Fe₂O₃, PREPARED BY COMBUSTION METHOD

Fe₂O₃ was synthesized by combustion method with Iron, (II) Nitrate Nonahydrate, Fe(NO₃) ₃. 9H₂O and Citric Acid, C6H8O7 as the starting materials. The result obtained indicated that the material synthesized as a pure crystal structure and clearly assigned to a a-Fe₂O₃ (hematite).
