Summary: | Calcium plays important roles in inducing superconductivity in YCaBa4Cu6Oy (YBCO), which is an antiferromagnetic insulator at low Ca content. In order to study the influence of calcium addition on the critical temperature, critical current density, phase composition and morphology of the YCaBa4Cu6Oy, the sample is compared to standard Y-123 superconductor which is prepared using a solid state method and we have divided it to porous and non-porous structure. |
