DETERMINATION OF GROSS GAMMA EMISSION OF SOIL SAMPLES AND SURFACE DOSE OF A FORMER TIN MINE AREA

In former tin mining are, the disturbance on the soil will cause the accumulation of radioactive containing minerals. Three important types of ionizing radiation are emitted by radionuclides in soil, namely alpha radiation, beta radiation and gamma radiation.
