Summary: | The project is primarily concerned with the investigation of the limiting porosities of some Malaysian sands available in practice. In this project three types of sands were used:ie ; mining sand, river sand, and coastal sand. The river sand was taken from Sg. Gombak, while the coastal sand was taken at Kuantan coast and the mining sand was acquired near a mining area in Sg. Besi. Attempts were made to have representative samples from each site concerned. |
