Summary: | At present, in South East Asia, particularly Malaysia, two building codes are commonly used for referred to in design of concrete structures. They are British Code of Practice, CP-114 (1957 edition) and British Code of Practice, CO-110 (1972). Although these two codes are similar in basic concept, they are field on significant difference which may effect the final structure in term of cost, design time and efficiency in a design office particularly in a consultant firm. |
