 Muslims are obliged to cultivate the Qur'an by reading, memorizing, meditating, understanding and interpreting it, and practicing it in daily life. There is nothing better than trying to realize it according to the level of ability. Muslims must also behave well towards the Quran by following its instructions, practicing its teachings, punishing according to Shariah, and inviting people to follow its instructions. This is because it is a manhaj for preaching to Allah SWT. However, there is an effort from the enemies of Islam to stop them in that direction. For this reason, the effort to understand the maqasid al-Quran becomes very significant as one of the antidotes to cure the disease virus spread by them. This is done so that Muslims do not experience similar things that have happened to previous peoples as expressed by the Qur'an in His words (al-Jumu'ah 62: 5): The attributes of the Prophet Muhammad have been described in the Torah but the Jews did not believe it either, so comparing the people (Jews) who were responsible and tasked with knowing and implementing the laws of the Torah Book, then they did not complete that responsibility and task, is like a donkey that carries the burden of the great books (while it does not know its contents). The comparison of people who falsify the verses of God's revelation is really bad; and (remember), Allah does not give guidance to the unjust people. So the purpose of this book is to see the efforts of the scholars in explaining the maqasid al-Quran, as well as the method of interacting and cultivating it so that it is able to have a profound impact on the lives of individuals and society
