 Malaysia is one of the early pioneers in developing the halal industry towards a more systematic and competitive global level. The government's determination to make Malaysia the center of the global halal industry is shown through the drafting of acts that meet the needs of the industry and the development of platforms and facilities that drive the development of the industry to a higher level. This book takes a comprehensive approach by introducing and discussing the halal industry from various sectors comprehensively, covering the food and beverage product sector, consumer goods, support services (such as logistics and warehousing) as well as Islamic banking and finance. In addition, this book also continues the integration agenda between the Islamic banking and finance sector with other halal sectors to further strengthen the halal system.
