 The rise of dakwah and the symbiotic Islamic movement in Malaysia usually refers to the development of ABIM and PAS which emerged as the leading dakwah or Islamic movements. ABIM and PAS's book in Gerakan Dakwah Islam di Di Malaysia records the dynamism of both Islamic movements that made dakwah the motor of their revival. Despite sharing a number of things on the basis of ideology and historical ties, these two movements differ in understanding and implementing da'wah. The thinking of figures in the movement such as Yusuf Rawa and Siddiq Fadhil is seen to lay down their respective da'wah policies so that they have their own identity in the midst of the current of the rise of other Islamic movements that are also struggling to uphold Islamic da'wah. In short, writing on this subject is very useful for analyzing the dynamism of da'wah in the Islamic movement in Malaysia with a particular focus on the two movements that have played an important role in this issue.
