When there is a mud flood, the safety and well -being of the people involved or victims is threatened and disturbed. This book was written based on the results of a study using pan tatif method and conducted to explore the psychological impact of victims of mud flood tragedy that occurred in Cameron Highlands on 23 October 2013. Past studies show that natural disasters such as mud floods can be associated with various psychological problems among victims. The focus of this study is on the psychological aspects of flood victims, namely anxiety, hopelessness and helplessness, depression, post -traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cognitive distortion, resilience, resilience and personality. Through interviews, every psychological aspect experienced by the victim was studied in depth. Using simple sampling, a total of 15 flood victims were interviewed. In general the victims involved with the mud floods are at a high level of anxiety but they are still able to resume life and functioning as usual. Based on the results of this study, the implications of counseling and psychotherapy are also discussed.
