Description
Summary:This book discusses some important concepts that are closely related to the issue of jihad based on the Qur'an and its explanation through the hadith of the Prophet s.a.w. and other authentic sources. Indeed, the issue of jihad is presented so clearly by the Quran and its teachings have been realized by the Prophet s.a.w. throughout his apostolic period. All the ambiguities related to it can be easily revealed through those two sources and should not be misunderstood by anyone, especially the non-Muslim community. This is because the concept of jihad established by the Qur'an is based on the greeting of peace, the process of defending rights, dignifying the people, and efforts to uphold the truth. The concept of jihad in the true sense of the word needs to be understood especially by Muslims, who have the responsibility to defend Islam from any threat. Prejudice and unfounded accusations have long been thrown against Islam and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, as done by al-Walid bin al-Mughirah in the time of the prophet and renewed by orientalists in the present day such as Jerry Fallwell, Franklin Graham, Pat Roberston, and others- another. The malicious accusations presented by them, partly stem from a misunderstanding of the concept of jihad and a prejudiced concept against the teachings of Islam itself. Accordingly, this book emphasizes several important concepts closely related to jihad and its interpretation specifically from the perspective of the Qur'an
