Maqasid Syariah consists of five aspects of life, namely religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property play an important role in ensuring human life to achieve a better quality of life in this world and the hereafter. Taking care of these five aspects of life guarantees a harmonious and prosperous life. There are three levels of Maqasid Syariah, namely dharuriyyat (basic), hajiyyat (comfort), and tahsiniyyat (perfection). The stage of dharuriyyat is a must for living life. While the stage of hajiyyat is an aspect that brings convenience and comfort to life. Tahsiniyyat is an aspect of perfection or beauty in living life. The Maqasid Syariah approach in measuring the quality of life is more complete compared to Maslow's theoretical approach because the Maqasid Syariah approach safeguards the public interest touches on aspects of safeguarding religion and ensuring justice. However, both approaches touch on meeting the satisfaction of individual needs.
