 This book, Towards the Cultivation of Unity in the Diversity of the Malaysian Society, is expected to provide an overview of the need to prepare the surrounding environment to produce a generation that not only has knowledge of the government's efforts to achieve national unity but is even able to translate it into every behaviour and ultimately create a precise unity among Malaysian citizens. As a plural country, unity is essential to facilitate the government's desire to drive this country towards a more prosperous one so that every citizen in this country, regardless of race, customs, or religion, can enjoy it together. This book is the result of the Prime Minister's Thought Seminar, which was held on May 22, 2012, at the Perdanasiswa Complex Auditorium, Universiti Malaya. The Prime Minister's Thinking Seminar is held to enable the people and the younger generation to understand more deeply the thinking of statesmen who have contributed a lot to the country. We hope that the current and future generations can learn from the idealism of these statesmen to instill a deep love for the motherland and the spirit of Malaysia in today's society
