 This book on Wakaf Institutions History and Contemporary Practice was written as a result of experience, and the author's own involvement in wakaf institutions obtained in various wakaf institutions such as the Wakaf Division, Islamic Relief, UK; Merton College, Oxford University; University of Cambridge; Lincoln's Inn, London, and Istanbul, Turkey. The experience and knowledge gained by the author in all institutions that have an early history of the practice of the creation of waqf has been used as much as possible to produce studies related to waqf institutions. The results of these studies are then presented in this book. This book discusses the concept and basis of waqf legislation which is sourced from the Qur'an, hadith and the consensus of scholars.
