 This Tourism and Hospitality in Islam book is produced based on the course syllabus offered in the Diploma Program at Polytechnics throughout Malaysia. This course is one of the compulsory courses for all students majoring in Tourism and Hospitality. This book is considered important because it covers all the learning topics found in the syllabus set by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. The book is also suitable for the use and reference of lecturers, in-service teachers, students especially in polytechnics and generally in other institutions of higher learning as well as those involved in tourism and hospitality. The book contains four chapters that focus on discussions of tourism and hospitality in Islam. The chapters in this book highlight the following topics; Islamic Tourism and Hospitality, Fiqh Methods in the Field of Tourism and Hospitality, The Concept of Hygiene According to Islam and Contemporary Issues. The discussion of these topics is hoped to help and facilitate students to understand the field of tourism and hospitality in Islam better and more deeply.
