 The Penang Dialect Glossary is one of the titles in the Peninsula Malay Dialect Glossary Series. This book contains a vocabulary list of the selected Penang dialect, which provides further information about the designation, word class and its meaning. It is also explained the use of each vocabulary in the dialect verse, the manner in which the verse is mentioned along with its phonetic symbol, and the equivalent of the dialect verse in the standard verse. The Series of Glossary of Peninsular Malay Dialects was published as an effort to collect and document the dialect vocabulary found in Peninsular Malaysia so that it can be used as a reference by Malay language users, especially Malay language and cultural reviewers, students and educators.
