Summary: | Moral Generation Generating Religious School is a book that reveals the role of religious schools as institutions that shape the morals of students. Religious schools either under the auspices of the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM) or the state government such as State Religious Secondary Schools (SAN) and the Johor Islamic Religious Council (MAIJ), People's Religious Secondary Schools (SMAR), morning and afternoon religious schools, as well as religious schools private, all of them are very significant in shaping the moral personality of their students. Next, against the background of 15 SMAR in Johor and with a more in-depth study specification, the focus of this book looks at the role played by religious schools in generating mahmudah morals and freeing students from mazmumah morals. The results of the study show that the role played by SMAR is important and significant to the moral development of students and society in the state of Johor. Thus, this 'machinery' of moral formation should be maintained, fought for, and advanced in order to become an important vessel in the development of a high moral and noble society. This book is suitable as a reference for religious school promoters at the level of the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM), Prime Minister's Department (JPM), Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM), State Religious Department, History Department related to religious schools, academics, religious school activists , principals and head teachers, religious teachers, and the Muslim community throughout Malaysia who want to see the history of the development of religious schools up close and the role of this school in shaping the morals of its students.
