Description
Summary:The book Islam and Economic Challenges written by M. Umer Chapra attempts to answer three basic economic questions that are no strangers, namely what, how, and for whom are produced: how many alternatives to goods and services should be produced, who will produce them, what is the combination of various sources and the technology used and who will enjoy the goods and services produced. The answer to this question not only determines the allocation of resources in the economy but also the distribution among individuals and between the present (present consumption) and the future (savings and investments). Allocation and distribution cover key parts of the economy and ultimately determine whether the needs of each individual have been met, other socioeconomic goals can be realized and whether the public gets sufficient incentives to give what is best for them. The essential tests that will provide results for economic systems are determined not through certified goals but more precisely through their realization.
