This book discusses the study of language from a functional point of view, then the function of language is analyzed through the study text, Kumpulan Melayu Pantun (1983), Language is closely related to thought. Then, the Theory of Language Philosophy (Mohd Rashid Md Idris, 2007) was presented which highlights three principles in ensuring that language functions are utilized. First, we need to speak according to the language in order to achieve its objective. Second, we also need to use the language to convey the correct information. Third, it is right that we speak the language for the purpose of worship. Thus, we have done our best in language activities.
