Summary: | This book examines the concept of Islam, namely creed, worship, caliphate, da'wah and jihad in novels with Islamic elements. This research is based on the extent to which the authors present the concept of Islam in their works. At the same time, this book sees the alignment of the views of religious figures and literary scholars, whether at the world level pioneered by al-Ghazali, Sayyid Qutb and al-Faruqi or at the local level led by Ismail Hamid, Ismail Ibrahim, Muhammad Bukhari Lubis, Mohd. Kamal Hassan, Muhammad Uthman el-Muhammady, Shafie Abu Bakar and Shahnon Ahmad towards the understanding of "Islamic literature". On average, these figures use monotheism as a measure of evaluation of the level of effectiveness of the concepts of goodness (al-Khayr), truth (al-Haqq) and beauty (al-Jamal) found in Islamic works. Based on the selection of texts, i.e. the novels that won either "contests", "awards" or "gifts" Takmilah the ones with Islamic elements, then the idea of Theory sparked by Shafie Abu Bakar was used as a discussion analysis |
