Description
Summary:Da'wah is now in a new environment, especially due to the emergence of various communication technologies associated with computers and even satellites. In this environment, da'wah needs to move within the basic framework, or manhaj rabbani, which is wise, good advice, and praying in the best possible way. The phases of the development of da'wah show its dynamism, especially by focusing on developing humans as God's caliphs. With the emergence of the network society, netizens, and the change of delivery system from analogue to digital, preaching has to deal with changes in space and time, as well as some new values that appear in the human audience. Thus, this book examines the phenomenon of the cyber da'wah environment, especially in the context of Malaysia, which is moving towards becoming a developed country based on its own model. Computer-Aided Preaching (DBK), websites, digital Islam, and the development of Islamic popular culture are among the issues discussed. This book is suitable for reading by the community of higher education institutions and also by the general public. Problems and prospects of the use of information and communication technology for preaching in Malaysia
