While it is true that the landscape of international law is Euro-centric. the contemporary international community however, would have to seek a new perspective to international law to fill in the vacuum which the Westphalian model has failed to address with regards to the needs of the present world. In view of the fact that Asian and African countries represent more than half of the membership in the United Nations, it is only apt that they contribute to the development of international law.
