 This book is a collection of scholarly writings that have been presented at the Borneo International Islamic Conference 2010 with the theme "Empowering Islamic Discourse in Borneo". This conference was held in STAIN Pontianak, Indonesia, on October 4-5, 2010 through the joint organization of the Borneo Islamic Development Center of Universiti Teknologi MARA Sarawak, the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia and STAIN Pontianak. All the scientific papers that have been collected have been selected based on the positive impact that can be applied and can be a useful reference for the future. The aim of organizing the Borneo International Islamic Conference is to provide a forum for discussion in several key aspects, including the field of education, papers and manuscripts, as well as the latest issues in Borneo and the surrounding area.
