 The late Tun Ahmad Razak Hussein was the second Prime Minister of Malaysia. He was also involved in the effort to liberate the country from the British. His contribution to helping to ease racial tension cannot be denied, in addition to being able to end communist violence in Malaya. His persistent efforts to develop the rural community are proven by the New Economic Policy, and the most significant is the establishment of FELDA, which is the only rural development body that is most structured and planned. He planned the First and Second Malaysia Plans for the overall economic development of the country. He also persistently strived to improve the field of education until the Razak Statement was issued, which established Malay as the main medium of instruction
