Summary: | Human history is indeed full of clashes and bloodshed. Different races and countries can rarely live side by side in peace. Often, the people are dragged into the scene of hostility and war, which brings great catastrophe. That's why, according to Liang Liji, the history of Sino-Malay relations in the 15th century is amazing because, throughout the relationship for more than half a century, there was no disagreement or dispute, let alone war. This situation is very different when the Malay World is dominated by the West. Melaka and China did not only build the strength of their relationship on pragmatic political and economic factors. A very strong cultural relationship is evidenced by the circulation of Man La Jiu Guo Yi Yu, a Chinese-Malay bilingual dictionary, during the Ming Dynasty-Melaka relationship. China, on the other hand, adheres to the philosophy of Confucius. Among other things, Confius taught, "If you want to grow, grow others; if you want to prosper, prosper others."
