The Granada Inquisition confiscated all Arabic books from mosques, resource centers, schools and individuals. The mosque was converted into a church and cathedral. If you want to be safe, just ask to be baptized as a Christian. Abu Jaafar's descendants survived to become Muslims. Inside the house they prayed and communicated in Arabic but outside the house they spoke Castilian, used baptismal names and attended "holy missions" on Sundays at church.
