Summary:This book revolves around the story of Natrah or her real name Nadra Binti Ma'aruf or Huberdina Maria Hertogh or Bertha, a Dutch girl. He became the adopted son of a Malay mother named Che Aminah bind Mohamad from Kemaman, Terengganu. Natrah's name first appeared in the press because of the custody battle trial between her Malay adoptive mother and her biological parents in the Netherlands. The case then became bigger, more complicated and received the attention of the international community because Natrah married at the age of 13 to a young man named Mansor Adabi, 22 years old in Islam and then tried under English civil law. His case became famous when there were bloody riots in Singapore to defend Natrah who was trying to be Christianized and to defend Islam who was being insulted by the pro-colonial press at the time
