The supplication of Khalifah Umar al Khattab was fulfilled by the birth of Umar bin Abdul Aziz or his real name Abu Jaafar Umar bin Abdul Aziz bin Marwan bin Hakam bin Ash bin Umaiyah bin Abdi Syams. His mother was Laila Ummu Ashim binti Ashim bin Umar al Khattab, the second caliph of al Rasyidin. He was born in Halwan in 61 Hijrah/683 AD. However, popular opinion says he was born in 63 Hijrah/684 AD in Medina City when the army of Yazid bin Muawiyah of Damascus attacked the holy city. After becoming caliph, Umar Abdul Aziz who was known for his justice made justice a priority of his rule. He wants all citizens to be treated equally fairly regardless of heredity and rank so that justice can run perfectly. The justice he fought for equaled the justice of his grandfather, Caliph Umar Al-Khatab, who was always awaited by the people who were always oppressed by the haughty and tyrannical dignitaries.
