This book is prepared as an introduction to contract administration which is based on the contract form series 203. In accordance with the title of this material which is 'Introduction to Contract Administration' the approach advanced is more about an overall understanding of certain matters or terms that are commonly encountered when administering construction contracts. This book is written taking into account several things, among others, the understanding of the basic things found in the contract, a brief definition of the terms commonly found in the terms of the contract and then the comments on the clauses found in the terms of the contract and then the comments on the selected clauses followed by examples of certificates, letters and other related matters. The content of this book, to some extent, takes into account the syllabus of material measurement programs at the diploma and degree level in institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. In addition, this book is also felt to be suitable for students of other majors such as building, building surveying, civil engineering, civil engineering and other related fields. It is hoped that this book can benefit students involved in the construction profession because it is likely that they will deal with government contracts that use the JKR Equivalent Contract Form 203 when they work later.
