This may be because the emphasis among some ustaz in the matter of istikharah is associated with choosing a mate only. In fact, the practice of Sunat Istikharah Prayer has a wider scope. We are sometimes not given a warning in this matter. It is not only related to mates, but covers all matters of life, desires and other things. Therefore, this Sunat Istikharah Prayer is highly encouraged by Rasulullah as mentioned in the hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari; "The Prophet once taught us Istikharah in various matters, such as teaching a surah in the Al-Quran. If one of you wants something, then he should pray two rak'ahs ". This book reveals the kaifiat of Istikharah Prayer in detail. Hopefully, with the publication of this book, we can increase our faith, have made pious practices in our lives. Amen. |
