This book explains the invention "Aceh stone" in the state of Johor by some surveys that have been carried out by the École française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO) along the Johor Heritage Foundation between 1996 and early 1999. this option does not take place by chance because in fact, in situation / knowledge now, the state of Johor is the most rich "stone Aceh" in Malaysia. in order to provide a catalog as complete as possible with a detailed overview of each grave marked "rock Aceh", a collection of tombstones is reviewed in terms of typology, epigraphy and a chronology to try to add to our knowledge of the history of the state of Johor between the 15th and 19th centuries -18. Daniel Perret is a researcher from the French Far East Research Center (EFEO) serving in Kuala Lumpur since 1994. He conducts research on the Malay world since the early 90s in the field of history and archeology, especially in Peninsular Malaysia, in Indonesia and in south of Thailand. Kamarudin Ab. Rázak has been the curator of the Johor Heritage Foundation since 295. He has been conducting archeological and historical studies in the state of Johor since that year. Ludvik Kalus is an Islamic epigraphist who served as Professor in Didang Tamadun Blam at the Sorbonne University, Paris.
