Description
Summary:Consists of books that explore various questions in management and administration such as policy implementation, finance, leadership, work quality, and productivity. The books in this series contain recommendations, rules and guidelines that are appropriate to be practiced by every manager, administrator and planner or individual in organizations such as private companies and government departments. INTEGRITY Organizational Quality Improvement focuses on the aspect of Total Quality Management (TQM) based on the concept of human dimension TQM which looks at the behavioral or social dimensions found in each organization. The author begins the discussion by highlighting various definitions, elements, and theories that revolve around integrity. Next, a detailed analysis focuses on the TQM elements of the human dimension which consist of vision formation, mission and goals, leadership, training, culture, team building, communication, and recognition. Each topic and subtopic presented is also supported by theoretical models and arguments of world scholars. To improve the quality and integrity of the organization, the authors include two research instruments namely "Ethical Work Culture Instrument (measuring the type of work culture of an organization)" and "Organizational Process Climate Instrument (measuring and explaining four types of organizational climate in 17 climate dimensions)". All aspects presented are believed to improve the quality and integrity of an organization in line with current needs. TOM creates a resilient work tradition, a spirit of teamwork, an organizational environment based on mutual agreement, and the formation of high values of trust. Thus, TQM is a model to a management discipline that is based on human values rather than strong social relationships.
