"Penukaran Kod Kesan Asmilasi Budaya Jepun" contains five chapters that discuss the phenomenon of language behavior among former Malaysian students who graduated from Japanese universities. They were found to frequently switch language codes alternately in their speech, either from Malay or English to Japanese or vice versa when in the same group.
