Summary: | An in -depth study needs to be done on the management of waqf that has been and is currently underway in Malaysia. This is especially important to look at existing legislation and management effectiveness. This book will try to look at and analyze the forms of endowment management of the states in Malaysia in comparison, focusing on eight states, namely Johor, Melaka, Perak, Penang, Sbah, Sarawak, Selangor and Terengganu and a corporation, the Development Corporation. Wakaf Malaysia. The justification for the selection of the states is based on certain zones. Johor and Melaka represent the zelatan zone, Perak and Penang represent the northern zone, Sabah and Sarawak represent the East Coast zone, Selangor represent the central zone and Terengganu represent the East Coast zone, while the Malaysian Wakaf Development Corporation represents non -governmental agencies. This book is an extension of the book introduction to the concept of waqf in Islam. It is very useful to many parties, including the Islamic Religious Council of the States throughout Malaysia, Islamic Economic Development Foundation, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad, non-governmental organizations directly involved in endowment activities, university students in various faculties such as the Faculty of Architecture Planning and Surveying, Faculty of Business Management, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Information Studies, Faculty of Accounting and Faculty of Information Technology & Quantitative Science. Apart from that, the government sector which is involved in waqf activities such as the State Islamic Religious Departments, Land Offices, Felcra, Felda, Risda and others, is not left behind by the corporate sector such as the state Islamic development foundations and others. In addition, this book is also very useful as a reference and guide to the Muslim community to know and understand about waqf management in Malaysia. |
