Most of the content was born from experiences while serving at the National Library of Malaysia for 20 years (1980-2000) under the Library Sharing Scheme. Briefly, the writer has served as a Cataloger and Indexer at the National Library of Malaysia for ten years, a Library Officer at the Ministry of Information Library, Angkasapuri for five years and a Chief Librarian at the MITI Resource Center, also for five years. Other libraries that the writer has served in are the MRSM Library, Kuantan and the Ministry of Public Works Library.
