 In June 1325M, Ibn Battutah or his full name Abu 'Abdillah Muhammad ibn' Abdillah ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Lawati, left Tangier to perform the pilgrimage to Makkah. It was in this holy city that the desire to travel erupted in him and Ibn Batuttah really made it a reality.
