The second edition, now in hard copy format only, includes a new chapter that takes an in-depth look at digital rights management, taking account of the All Party Internet Group's findings public inquiry published in June 2006. It also offers a new section on copyright clearance for digital content; current examples of the penalties imposed for file sharing, piracy, counterfeiting; and more case law examples. websites and intranets; the use of screenshots in presentations; hyperlinking and deep linking; how the copyright exceptions apply to digital content; licences, contracts, or a set of terms and conditions; the interface between copyright law and contract law; model licence agreements; The Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003 - including the new: offences, particularly relating to the removal or alteration of rights; management information; and the question of circumventing technological; protection measures such as digital rights management systems; as well as digital signatures, relevant legal cases, and further reading. |
