Description
Summary:This book focuses on the implementation of HIV testing on prospective brides in terms of sharia and law and its effect on the well-being of the family institution. Arguments from Al-Quran, Al-Sunnah, jurisprudence and usul rules, ijtihad of scholars and the views of muftis in Malaysia are used as the main support in providing explanations from the point of view of the application of laws in Malaysia, the main focus is given to the state of Johor since it was the first state to require this test for all brides-to-be. It is hoped that this book will be able to dispel the public's doubts about Islamic and legal views on this test. Hopefully this book can be a guide to any state in Malaysia that wants to implement the same test.
