 This book discusses questions of Islam in the Malay Peninsula in the 19th century. Generally, we see the Malay community in the 19th century is often associated with the British. Starting with the Pangkor Treaty on January 20, 1874, the imperialist various ways in order to win over the Malays to accept and support their presence.
